J.H. was the son of Annie, the widow of William, and they lived at 412 Newton Lane, Arundel Street, Sheffield.  J.H. is buried at the Huts Cemetary, Ypres, France. His grave is           No. XV.D.17

George was killed in action, aged 26. He is buried in Dunkirk Town Cemetery.

Harry was a "Desert Rat", serving in Africa. He fought at the battle of El Alemein under General Montgomery but (fortunately for him) was on leave when Torbruk fell and some of his friends were taken prisoner.
